I am a mother first, a physician for twenty-five years, a writer of poetry, essay, and memoir. I am also a dog lover especially since Polo and Bowie came into our lives. I write about all of these things. I live with my husband, and non-adult children, in Los Angeles where I read and play with words when I am not doctoring.
